What's involved
Fitting a higher-rated shower onto an undersized cable is a common and dangerous shortcut. We check the existing cable and breaker against the new unit before we fit it, and tell you if the circuit needs upgrading first.
We work with the pipework and supply already in place. If a new supply route or new plumbing is needed beyond reconnection, we'll say so up front and price it separately.

- Existing pipework and supply cable reconnected
- Supply cable size and circuit protection checked against the new unit's rating
- Pull-cord isolator switch replaced where required
- Testing and certification of the shower circuit

We replace existing electric showers and reconnect the existing pipework and supply cable. New plumbing installations aren't something we take on.
Can I fit a more powerful shower?
Sometimes - it depends on the existing cable size and consumer unit. We check both before recommending a unit.
